FA CHARTER STANDARD

FA CHARTER STANDARD

The FA Charter Standard programme is a kitemark, and is awarded by the Football Association to clubs that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety as paramount.

There are three levels of The FA Charter Standard Awards.
• FA Charter Standard Club
• FA Charter Standard Development Club
• FA Charter Standard Community Club

Once awarded, FA Charter Standard clubs are given an Annual Health Check to ensure the standards of provision are maintained.

East Grinstead Meads FC was awarded the FA Charter Standard in 2008.

In 2009 it was named as Charter Standard "Club of the Year" by Sussex FA.

Later that year it was awarded the FA Charter Standard Development Club status, at the time one of only 12 in the county at that time.

In 2010 Sussex FA named the club as "Charter Standard Development "Club of the Year". A feat we repeated in 2011 & 2013.

In 2013 the club was put forward for the Regional award and was voted South East Regional CS Club for 2013 by the FA.
