13th March, Inter & AC travelled to Broad Oak for a late morning KO. Inter & AC lost their first games of the season but came away from Braod Oak with their heads held high. Both Inter & AC both lost by 2 goals against a very strong physical Broad Oak team. The Meads had one of those days when everthing seem to go against us. We had 5 of our team injured during the matches and we struggled at times to compete on an equal basis against the one Broad Oak squad of 10. The team even played when Injured against Broad Oak and gave it a go, our team ethics and attitude were outstanding.We wish Broad Oak good luck for the rest of the season and look forward to playing them at 11-aside next season ... The other team we played on the day were Forest Row ( Our bogey team from previous years) we had to play 6 vs their 7 at times and both Inter & AC won both these matches. We look forward to playing Chipstead at home on the 27th March and Im hoping we can get some players on the pitch and off the treatment table!
